Here at JB Financial we offer over 30 year in combined experience helping entrepreneurs save more on taxes, grow their businesses, and step into their true profit mindset.
Jonathan Bengel is a nationally recognized IRS Enrolled Agent, Certified Tax Strategist, Certified Tax Planner, Certified Tax Coach, and Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute, known for transforming the way entrepreneurs think about money, taxes, and business success. With over 20 years of experience guiding business owners through the complexities of taxation, Jonathan has earned a reputation as the expert who turns tax fear into financial freedom.
He is the #1 Best-Selling Author of The ABCs of Deductions: An Entrepreneur’s Guide to Tax Write-Offs, a groundbreaking book that makes the tax code simple, accessible, and profitable for small business owners. His work empowers entrepreneurs to understand the “secret menu” of legal tax strategies and proactively reduce their tax burdens while increasing their bottom line.
Jonathan is also the founder and CEO of JB Financial LLC and Naked Tax Talk, where he serves entrepreneurs, coaches, speakers, authors, and small business owners who are tired of overpaying the IRS and want to unlock the wealth hidden inside their businesses. His unique approach blends technical expertise with an educator’s heart—a talent rooted in years of teaching and a master’s degree in Education.
But Jonathan’s expertise is only part of what makes him extraordinary.
Born into generational poverty, raised in a world that tried to silence him, and shaped by the adversities of discrimination, Jonathan redirected his pain into purpose. Today, he is known not just as a tax professional, but as a business profit coach who helps CEOs step into their power—financially, mentally, and spiritually. His Profit Mindset teachings guide entrepreneurs to rewrite limiting beliefs, embrace self-worth, and run their businesses like true CEOs.
His mission is simple: to help entrepreneurs keep more of the money they earn and build lasting wealth—without fear, without confusion, and without apology.
Most business owners unknowingly overpay the IRS every single year. They miss deductions, use the wrong entity, or follow outdated advice—quietly sabotaging their own profit and financial security.
Jonathan Bengel eliminates that fear.
Through his best-selling book, high-impact trainings, and private tax strategies, he reveals the opportunities hiding inside the tax code—opportunities designed to help entrepreneurs thrive, not struggle.
Albert Koewler is a seasoned operations and brand leader who blends over a decade of experience in judicial administration, legal operations, HR management, and strategic brand development. As Chief Brand Officer at JB Financial and Vice President of The Bengel Experience, Albert helps organizations scale with clarity, structure, and authenticity by unifying operational excellence with compelling brand strategy.
Before transitioning into the private sector, Albert built a respected career supporting two Arizona Superior Court Judges—first in criminal court and later in family court—where he managed courtroom operations, coordinated complex scheduling and records, and contributed to legal research, drafting, and procedural decision-making. He further strengthened his litigation operations experience at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in the Child and Family Protection Division, supporting trial teams across criminal conduct and high-complexity cases. His work included discovery management, trial preparation, witness coordination, and compliance oversight.
Albert’s career began in Human Resources as Director of HR at MTG Consulting Group, a family-owned firm where he oversaw payroll, benefits, compliance, accounts payable/receivable, and operational continuity. This early foundation shaped his reputation as a detail-oriented, calm-under-pressure leader whose approach balances strategic judgment with practical, people-centered decision-making.
Beyond his professional roles, Albert is committed to community impact, volunteering with Ability360, Florence Crittenton, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice and holds an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Rio Salado College.
Across every chapter of his career, Albert integrates legal insight, operational discipline, and brand strategy to help businesses and communities build trust, strengthen structure, and grow with intention.
